You can add a site in one of two ways to notify.me.

  1. The manual way
    1. Go to the website your interested in (I'll use CNN for this example) with your web browser.
    2. Copy the address of the website you are interested in from your browser's address bar

    3. Login to your notify.me account, select the 'Account' tab, then select 'Source' and paste the url into the Feed form field, then click 'Add Feed'

    4. Tell notify.me how you would like to be alerted or notified when new content is available by clicking on the icon for instant messenger, mobile phone or email.

    5. That's it. Now new updates from CNN will be pushed to my instant messenger.

  2. Alternatively you can use the notify.me bookmarklet (it's kinda like a browser plugin) to add a site to notify.me with the click of a button right from your browser. Login to your notify.me account, select 'Tutorial' and then click bookmarklet to configure your browser.
