StackOverflowFrom $1Table of contentsNo headersStack Overflow is an online community for programming-related questions. One of the interesting features of this website is that it allows users to give reputation points for correct answers. As you gain reputation points, you unlock more functionality from the site such as being able to categorize questions, and even edit other people's entries. One of the common complaints about Stack Overflow is referred to as the Fastest Gun in the West problem. Basically, most questions are answered so quickly that it is challenging for new users to contribute and build their reputation. notify.me helped me conquer this problem by constantly monitoring Stack Overflow for new questions. To focus on linux questions, I subscribed to questions tagged 'linux', and had notify.me send me an instant message whenever one showed up. This freed me from having to constantly monitor the website, but let me respond quickly when I needed to. By being the fastest gun in the west, I was able to increase my reputation very quickly.
