My biggest problem on craigslist when I'm trying to buy a something in high demand is that I never get lucky and find a listing that is still available.  For example if I'm looking for tickets to a show or a game, I can use notify.me to send me notifications when a new listing is published. Here's how I can use notify me to search for tickets to the San Diego Chargers game:

1. Go to craigslist and do a search for whatever it is i am looking for
   
   
    
2. Copy the URL from my browser's address bar after clicking on 'search'
   
   
    
3. Go to my notify.me Account -> Source page and paste the URL in the Feed box and click 'Add Feed'
   
   
    
4. Now I can setup the ways for notify.me to notify me by clicking on the destination of my choice (instant Messenger / mobile phone / email)
   
   
    
5. And I am all set.

Alternatively, to skip steps 2 and 3 I can use the notify.me bookmarklet to do the work for me with the click of a button. Follow the tutorial by logging into your notify.me account, then selecting Tutorial -> bookmarklet to get your browser setup.
